"The health of a church is not in its seating capacity but its sending capacity"

One of our passions is planting (sending and starting) new churches, and we firmly believe this is the blueprint established in the Scriptures for the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Mt 28:18-20).

On September 25, 2021 we officially prayed over and sent out four of our families, including one of our pastors, Jason Faircloth. We have since sent three additional families to Burgaw and we thank God for allowing us to be a part of a new gospel-preaching church in Burgaw!

PARKVIEW COMMUNITY CHURCH

Gloversville, NY

In the Spring of 2017 Crossway Wilmington sent Pastor James Larrabee and his family to plant Parkview Community Church in upstate New York. Two additional families from Crossway moved to NY to partner with the Larrabees and over the last several years God was at work in and through this local church.

At this time Parkview has closed its doors and the families have joined with other local churches as the Larrabees prayerfully consider what is next for them and their ministry in upstate NY. We thank God for the faithful gospel witness of Parkview Community Church over the last several years, and we believe the planting and watering done by these faithful servants will result in much fruit in the months and years to come. God will build His church!

CAMINO DE LA CRUZ

Puerto Escondido, Mexico

In 2014 a family from Crossway started Global Education Ministries with a vision to start low cost private schools as a platform to share the gospel.  The Manantial School was started and God has used it substantially to reach students and families with the gospel.

As God brought many people to Christ in Puerto Escondido, those individuals and families needed a church family where they could be fed and cared for.  In 2016 Crossway sent Rob and Mauri Moser to provide pastoral leadership to a new church plant, Camino De La Cruz. Rob pastored the church for four years and in the Summer of 2020 Nathan Cedarland took over the lead pastor role of Camino De La Cruz. We praise God for what He is doing in Mexico!

We are convinced that this movement of healthy, reproducing churches has only just begun.  We are also confident God is going to continue to open doors for Crossway Wilmington and our network of churches to plant more churches throughout the United States and the world.

You can find more information here for the Crossway Network of churches.

God is moving and it is a joy and privilege to be a part! Would you prayerfully consider joining us!
