Support Josie and the Jewell Familiy
Thank you for diligently praying for this sweet family in our church body. Many have asked how they can tangibly serve the Jewells as they walk the road of battling Leukemia, and this page will serve as a guide.
MEALS
A meal train has been created for the Jewell family. If you’re able to bless them with a meal, please sign up online! Donations on the MealTrain page will be used for additional expenses such as food, fuel for traveling, etc.
yard work
We are looking for 6 people that would be willing to volunteer their time to maintain the yard at their home once a week. If you’d like to volunteer, please reach out to Matt Maready at 910-284-9215.
HOME CLEANING
We are currently searching for a cleaning company that could come and clean Ross & McLaren’s home every two weeks (on Tuesday mornings). If you know any reputable companies, please let us know! Send an email to admin@crosswaywilmington.org
GO FUND ME
This has already been setup by family members of the Jewells, and their plan is to use this exclusively for medical expenses, lodging, and also to bless other families they come into contact with during Josie's treatment journey. You can give to the Go Fund Me HERE.
PRAY
- That Josie’s body would be able to tolerate treatments. That she would have less pain and be able to eat and drink to maintain strength.
- We pray that the Lord would give Josie energy for her to be able to walk some, sit outside, and play like she is used to.
- Wisdom for doctors as they move forward with treatments. Wisdom for Ross & McLaren as they guide and parent her through this scary journey.
- Pray against fear. That the Lord would provide peace and security through His Spirit.
