This year, we are reading through the book Treasuring Christ When Your Hands are Full by Gloria Furman. Our hope is that each mom who joins us experiences a sweet time of fellowship and is encouraged and equipped to go and better love and serve their families unto the glory of God. We meet from 9:30-11am and childcare is provided.

Join us on Sunday, November 16th on the UNCW Intramural Fields for a fun time of sports (football y futbol) followed by a competitive chili cook off! It is the best time of the year... cool weather... sports... yummy chili... and some healthy competition!
Here's what's different this year:
We are keeping it simple. You - the people - will be the judges! Everyone can enjoy and taste all the chilis, and then vote on their favorite! The chili with the most votes WINS! Some might say that it’s basically a big chili pot luck with a little voting mixed in :)
We just ask that each life group tries to have at least 2-3 chilis to represent their groups so that we can feed the crowd. The church will provide toppings, chips, waters and cookies.

5:30 pm Chili competition begins & people are invited to enjoy chili & vote on their favorites! Winner will be announced at 6:30 pm!

The fields are on the corner of Riegel & Hamilton, adjacent to the Brooks Field Baseball Stadium. You can park along Riegel Rd & in the Visitors Lot (M Lot) on campus.

Coffee and donuts will be available. This will be a family style service, and there will not be any CW Kids classes. We’ll have chairs set up, but we know there will not be enough for everyone, so please bring yard chairs to supplement if you have them!

On October 11th, East Wilmington Community Day will be returning to it's original site at the Michael Jordan Clinic down the street from our church. This event brings many local churches together along with law enforcement with the goal of eradicating violence and building bridges to our community. Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities including: bounce house oversight, kids activities, general help on site, and chatting with community members. Approximately 16 volunteers needed to split shifts from 12-6.
This event offers a great opportunity to connect with our neighbors and share the love of Christ.

Parent/Child dedications provide a chance to pray for the new babies/children at Crossway and also allow us to encourage and pray for the parents as they seek to fulfill their God-given responsibility to steward these special blessings! We have two Sundays coming up in August & September with dedications. If you'd like your family to take part in the September 14th dedication, please sign up here!
For those interested in serving on the Worship Team (band or sound support). This interest meeting will give you an understanding of why we function the way we do and how it all takes shape. You will also walk away with the needed information to prayerfully consider the next steps in your service within this ministry.
